Resources for Sonographers

Imaging an athlete is not the same as imaging the general population.

Physiologic remodeling can mimic pathology, and accurate interpretation begins with expert image acquisition. Our sonographers are specially trained to recognize the structural and functional adaptations of competitive athletes.

Athletic imaging requires adaptability, advanced probe skills, and strong clinical judgment. Sonographers who thrive in this environment enjoy dynamic scanning, complex physiology, and collaborative physician relationships.

We strongly encourage all sonographers to regularly review and remain up to date with the current guidelines and recommendations established by the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology.
